1. Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple
The Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Temple is a religious place in Shirdi, Maharashtra in India, that is dedicated to Shri Sai Baba, who is considered to be one of the greatest saints to have been born in India. 3. Dwarkamai
Dwarkamai is one of the treasures of Shirdi for the devotees. They say that Dwarkamai is the heart of Shirdi, the place where the great Sai Baba spent a significant part of his life including his last moments. It is a treasure to all of Baba’s devotees because it was the home of, as they like to call him, God on Earth. People of all faiths look up to the great Sai Baba and truly believe in what he preached. The spirit of tolerance, acceptance and welcome is very much alive here.
What is truly interesting and worth noticing is that people from different faiths and religions come here to pay homage to Sai Baba and do that in their own way as they find comfortable.
4. Shree Saibaba Chavadi
During his last years, Sai baba used to spend alternate nights at Chavadi. The place is located near Dwarkamai mosque from where the procession of Sai baba along with his followers was carried out in a palki.
Even today, the procession takes place on every Thursday with the idol of the saint inside the palki. Therefore the place is of great importance to Sai baba’s followers.
5. Haji Abdul Baba's Cottage
One of the places that should not be missed by anyone visiting Shirdi is Abdul Baba’s cottage.
Located just opposite to Chavadi is Abdul Baba’s cottage, the cottage of one of the ardent followers of Sai Baba. This green colored cottage contains interesting collections of Sai Baba with Abdul. A photograph of Sai Baba with Swami Chinmayanand along with some other rare articles of Baba and Abdul can be seen in this cottage. There is an alley behind Abdul Baba’s cottage that leads to Laxmibai Shinde’s house, the house of another devotee of Sai Baba.
Abdul Baba, one of the ardent followers of Sai Baba who spent his life serving Sai Baba is a man who is highly respected by all the devotees of Sai Baba.
6. Shri Khandoba Mandir
This temple is dedicated to Khandoba, who is the presiding deity of the town and is considered to be another form of Lord Shiva. A stone idol of Lord Khandoba is located in the sanctum of the temple.
Khandoba Mandir of Shirdi is the place where Sai Baba was spotted as a Fakir when he came to Shirdi for the 2nd time. First time Sai baba was spotted at the place which is today famous as Gurusthan. Sai Baba set his foot under the Banyan tree near this temple.

7. DakshinMukhi Hanuman Temple
Maruti Mandir is a Hanuman temple located opposite Gate 3 of the Shirdi complex and between Dwarkamai and Baba’s Chavadi. This is a small temple with a Big statue of Hanuman Ji in a hall where one could sit and meditate. Since this temple is facing south direction, it is also known Dakshinmukhi Hanuman temple.
Maruti Mandir was the place where sadhus used to stay, including the ascetic Devidas, whom Baba would occasionally visit during his earlier years in Shirdi. When Baba went to Rahata with the fakir Javhar Ali in the early 1890s, his devotees were deeply unhappy at his absence from them. After about eight weeks they succeeded in persuading Javhar Ali to let Baba return to Shirdi, though he insisted on coming too.
8. Wet N Joy Water Park
This destination has a number of thrilling rides and activities which are equally enjoyable for children and adults alike. Located about 5 kilometres away from Shirdi in Nighoj Village, this destination is a much-needed respite from the heat and is a fun filled way to spend some time with near and dear ones.
It is not often that you get a combination of exciting activities, delicious food and adrenaline pumping all in one place, and Wet n Joy water park is certainly one of those locations. You can enjoy numerous activities such as rain dance or can indulge in a quaint swim in the Thunder Wave Pool. In addition to that, you will find half a dozen water rides here which are a must. 9. Lendi Baug (Garden)
The beautiful garden is situated at Shirdi-Manmade State highway. Sai Baba used to spend a lot of his time here watering the plants daily in the mornings and evenings.
The Neem tree in the garden once provided shade and rest to Sai baba. There is a marble ‘Deepagraha’ in the garden where Sai once lit a deepak which burns from dusk to dawn even today.
10. Shree Sai Hemant Art Gallery

12. Upasani Maharaj Ashram
The ashram is of a saint of the 20th century, named Upasani Maharaj. He was an ardent disciple of Sai Baba. Situated off the Shirdi-Ahmednagar State highway, the ashram contains the samadhi of the Maharaj and one of his disciples.
He was an intense admirer of Sai Baba. It is arranged off the Shirdi-Ahmednagar State Highway. The Ashram of Upasani Maharaj is near Shirdi. The samadhi of the Maharaj as well as one of his supporters is put inside the ashram.
The ashram is of a holy person of the twentieth century, named Upasani Maharaj. He was a vigorous pupil of Sai Baba. Arranged off the Shirdi-Ahmednagar State roadway, the ashram contains the samadhi of the Maharaj and one of his pupils. The ashram is open from 5 am to 10 pm for guests and aficionados.
13. Shri Sai Prasadalaya
Shirdi Sai Prasadalaya has grabbed national and international awards for using science in the best possible way in collaboration with spiritualism to serve a strong social cause. His prasadalay has been termed as the Worldʼs Largest Solar-Powered Free Food Kitchen. You would be amazed to know these facts and figures.
Shree Sainath has healed the suffering ones and always served the impoverished during his lifetime, during his period in Shirdi, he himself used to cook and feed the starved ones as well as the animals. Carrying along with this rite of Sai, Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, built up the famous Shri Sai Prasadalaya in 2009 in Shirdi. This Prasadalaya exhorts Sai’s principle of free food to all and is considered to be Asia’s largest Prasadalya.
14. Shri Dwarkamai Temple
Dwarkamai is situated on the right of the entrance of Samadhi Mandir. Here god sai baba solved problems of the people, cured their sickness and worries. Before Baba’s arrival in Shridhi, Dwarkamai was an old mosque in a dilapidated condition.
Baba turned it into Dwarkamai and proved that God is one. The first level of Dwarkamai has a portrait of Baba and a big stone on which Baba used to sit. This level has two rooms. One contains the chariot and the second a palkhi. Just in front of the room where the chariot is kept is a small temple. A saffron flag flies over it. The second level of Dwarkamai has a square stool made of stone, which Baba used for taking a bath.
